A bit about me
I have been surfing for over 35 years and longboarding for the past 20. The ocean has been my lifelong passion, and over the years, I’ve not only honed my skills in the water but also started making my own boards from start to finish. Riding a board I’ve crafted with my own hands brings a deeper connection to the waves, and I’m proud to say that I’ve won three 1st place competitions on my own boards.
Beyond my personal journey in surfing, I have a strong background in coaching. I spent 10 years coaching competitive boys’ and girls’ soccer teams, leading them to multiple state tournament victories and Kaua‘i Island championships. Helping young athletes develop their skills, mindset, and teamwork has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.
With my experience in both surfing and coaching, I bring a deep understanding of technique, strategy, and mentorship—whether in the ocean or on the field.
